What matters on a used golf shoe
Golf shoes wear differently from anything else because the wear comes from walking, not from the swing. A round is roughly seven kilometres on soft ground, so the outsole often looks barely touched while the upper has taken the weather.
If the pair is spiked, the spikes themselves are consumable and replace for very little, so worn spikes are not a reason to walk away. What matters more is whether the waterproofing is intact along the flex crease across the toe, because wet grass in the morning finds any failure there quickly.

Sizing a golf shoe
Most of the stock sits at EU 45, EU 44, EU 46. A golf shoe is worn over a thicker sock for four hours at a stretch, so err roomy rather than snug; the size calculator moves between EU, UK, PK, USA and centimetres. One EU number is not one UK number across makers — the differences are set out here.
