Hiking and trail stock runs to 119 pairs, Rs 1,500 through Rs 11,500. Half of them fall between Rs 4,700 and Rs 9,200, around a median of Rs 7,500. Each is a one-off that has already walked somewhere.

What to check on used hiking and trail shoes

Grip is the whole point, and grip is the first thing to go. Look at the depth of the lugs, especially the sharp rear-facing ones at the heel that stop you sliding on a descent. Rounded, shallow lugs mean the shoe has done its miles on hard ground and will not hold on wet rock or loose scree.

On a waterproof pair, the membrane fails at the flex points long before the upper looks worn — check the crease across the toe for cracking. Also look at the rand, the rubber strip bonding upper to sole around the toe: once that lifts, water gets in and the bond only spreads.

Which brands are stocked?

Asics · Salomon · New Balance · Brooks, and 34 other labels. All pre-loved and genuine — never replicas, never new stock passed off as hiking and trail shoes.

Condition, explained

Four grades, no overlap between the bands:

The grade is shorthand for what the pictures already show. First time buying boots second-hand? The guide runs through the grading bands and the authenticity checks.

Sizing boots for the trail

Availability is thickest at EU 42, EU 40, EU 41. Descending pushes the foot forward, so hiking boots are usually bought with a thumb's width at the toe and worn with thicker socks. Work from a foot measurement using the conversion tool, then check which labels run large or small.

Payment and returns

Pay when it reaches you, anywhere in the country. Dispatch is three to five working days after the order is processed, and the return window is 7 days. Should a pair prove inauthentic or arrive damaged, you get every rupee back and we absorb the shipping.
