Gym and training stock stands at 107 pairs, Rs 1,999 to Rs 9,500. Most sit between Rs 4,000 and Rs 8,200, median Rs 5,500. Every listing is one pair in one size, pictured honestly.

What to look for in pre-owned gym shoes

Gym shoes are judged on stability, not cushioning. A flat, firm sole that has not rocked over to one side is what you want, because lifting and lateral work need a stable base. Hold the photographs up and check the shoe sits square rather than leaning.

The failure point is the upper, not the sole. Side-to-side movement stresses the material over the little toe and along the medial side, so look for stretching, thinning or a tear starting at the stitch line there. Outsoles on training shoes usually outlast the uppers by a wide margin.

Which labels come up most?

Nike · Puma · Reebok · New Balance, and 11 other labels. All second-hand and genuine — never replicas, never new stock passed off as gym and training shoes.

How condition is graded

Four grades, no overlap between the bands:

The grade is shorthand for what the pictures already show. If you are new to buying previously owned footwear, our guide to it covers the grades and how to tell an authentic pair from a fake.

Sizing for the gym

Most stock sits at EU 40.5, EU 44, EU 42. Lifting and lateral work both want a stable fit rather than a loose one, so measure instead of guessing — the conversion chart translates EU, UK, PK, USA and foot length. Bear in mind that one EU number means different UK numbers by maker.

Delivery, payment and returns

Nationwide cash on delivery, tracked, usually three to five working days from processing. Returns stay open for 7 days. If what arrives is not genuine, or is damaged in transit, the refund covers the full amount and the postage.
